Mayurqa

Mayurqa is the journal published by the Department of History and Theory of Art of the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB). The first edition was published in 1968 and in 2018, it is celebrating its 50^th anniversary. The journal is taking this opportunity to enter a new fifth stage with an updated image and objectives. It is an annual digital publication that aims to attract original, unpublished research into History and History or Art across their different approaches, methodologies and geographical areas. Furthermore, it welcomes work on didactics in History and History of Art, book reviews, presentations of documentary resources, notes on historiographical and bibliographical debates, interviews and current academic, historiographic and cultural news.
