Abstract: The epigraphic testimonies referring to the gens Cornelia show that the family made different acts of evergetism towards the people of the island of Ibiza, among which included the construction of an aqueduct that would feed water to the city of the newly created flavian municipality. On the other hand, contemporary archeology has located in eight sites different sections of the aqueduct that, together with a testimony of 1791, allow to reconstruct more than five kilometers of the hypothetical route of the aqueduct until its arrival in the city.
Key words: aqueduct, conduction system, Ebusus, gens Cornelia, evergetism.
