The former library of the convent of Saint Francis of Assisi in Palma is an aspect of the cultural heritage of the convent that has not been studied yet. The aim of this paper is to make a brief introduction to the catalogue of the formal conventual library based on the study of two inventories that can be found in the Arxiu del Regne de Mallorca and the Public Library of Mallorca. We will compare the information provided by these two sources, focusing on the content and the order in which the books were arranged.
